Lucy Harman, Barrie

Lucy is a compassionate and dedicated student therapist, currently completing her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University and is now a Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Lakehead University and has experience working with a range of client concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and child behavior. Lucy has experience supporting clients navigating ADHD, neurodiversity and emotional regulation.

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy.  Lucy values creating a client-centered space where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Lucy works with teens, adults, and children in individual counseling. Outside of her practice, Lucy enjoys baking cookies and curling up with a good book, accompanied by her two bulldogs, Winson and Remoh.
