Helen Khaleghi
Helen is a Registered Psychotherapist with over ten years of clinical experience working with adults and couples in Canada and internationally. She specializes in trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties, and couples therapy.
Helen supports clients in understanding how past experiences, including childhood trauma, emotional neglect, betrayal, and difficult relationships, may continue to affect emotional regulation, self-worth, trust, boundaries, and connection with others.
In couples therapy, she works with partners experiencing recurring conflict, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, attachment insecurity, betrayal, and infidelity.
Her approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and attachment-focused interventions. She also has specialized training in betrayal trauma, high-conflict couples, and infidelity.
Helen is trained in Guided Drawing, a body-focused art therapy approach for trauma that uses movement, sensation, and drawing to support therapeutic processing.
Her style is warm, collaborative, and active, helping clients develop greater understanding while making meaningful changes in their relationships and everyday lives.
