Rebuild Strength and Self-Worth Through Individual Counselling

Our individual counselling approach focuses on helping survivors develop effective coping strategies while navigating their healing journey. We provide comprehensive support for those who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, or child abuse.

We offer both long-term and short-term counselling, along with ongoing support that’s tailored to your needs. Our approach includes harm reduction and connections to local community resources and violence support networks. Every session takes place in a safe, inclusive space where you can access the support and resources you need.

Whether you’re working through trauma, looking for guidance after abuse, or need help finding extra support, our team is here for you—helping every survivor move toward healing and rebuilding self-worth.

Vanessa, a 34-year-old survivor of relationship abuse, reached out to us after years of enduring pain and isolation. After our initial assessment, we got her connected with counselling services from trained mental health professionals so she could get the right kind of support for what she was going through. We made sure she had emotional support, help with managing her case, and access to community based programs that focus on assisting women to get back on their feet.

During her healing journey, Vanessa took part in both individual and group counselling for women. In the group sessions, she found a safe place to connect with other survivors of sexual assault and violence against women, where sharing their stories helped build strength, understanding, and hope. Our therapists guided her in developing the knowledge and skills needed to recognize healthy relationships, set personal boundaries, and manage triggers.

Through our programs and services, Vanessa also accessed victim support and accompaniment for appointments related to the justice system. She was connected with community services that link survivors of sexual abuse and women experiencing crisis to essential local resources, including support and outreach programs.

Today, Vanessa is now part of support groups for other women, proving that recovery is possible. Her story reflects how effective counselling can turn pain into empowerment. Whether you’re dealing with current or past abuse, our caring counsellors and supportive network of mental health professionals are here to walk with you on your journey toward healing and rebuilding your self-worth.
