EMDR Therapy

  1. Has past trauma been keeping you up at night?
  2. Have you been experiencing panic or anxiety attacks?
  3. Are you struggling with PTSD or other stress related trauma?

So what is it like to be in your shoes?

You may have experienced some form of trauma whether that be during childhood and development, or more recently in adulthood. Maybe these have resulted in some form of enhanced anxiety, struggles sleeping, or even panic attacks. You may have experienced some kind of large loss and are experiencing waves of grief.

No matter what you may be going through, Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR) is used to address a wide range of challenges that individual faced and continue to face to this day. At Family TLC we believe that you shouldn’t have to suffer through this alone, and that although taking the step to attend therapy may be hard, is so worth it in the end.

It all started after her father passed away at the end of high school. Samantha had known she had quite a bit of anxiety but never sought any type of support for it. Once her father passed she began experiencing intense episodes of anger, sadness and anxiety that were hard to control. She felt helpless and found she was kept up at night with countless thoughts constantly running through her head. Samantha had heard about EMDR on the internet but never looked into it until now. Working one on one with her therapist virtually completing EMDR has truly helped Samantha in getting her life back to normal and has helped improve her quality of life immensely.
